myBrandDNA ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our personal branding service at mybranddna.io.

When you use myBrandDNA, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account
• Questionnaire responses: Your answers to the 17-question Professional Identity Profile, including career stage, strengths, skills, professional history, and goals
• Payment information: Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.
• Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with our service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Generate your Brand DNA Profile and professional deliverables (LinkedIn copy, resume summary, content calendar, and outreach templates)
• Deliver your deliverables to the email address you provide
• Manage your account and subscription
• Improve our service and AI prompts
• Communicate with you about your account and deliverables

3. AI Processing

Your questionnaire responses are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your Brand DNA Profile and other deliverables. Your data is transmitted securely and is subject to Anthropic's privacy practices. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your account information and questionnaire responses are stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database service. Data is stored on servers located in the United States.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share your data only with:

• Anthropic: To process your questionnaire and generate your deliverables
• Stripe: To process payments securely
• Supabase: To store your account data
• Make.com: To automate the delivery workflow

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of any marketing communications

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data storage, secure HTTPS connections, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. LinkedIn Integration

If you connect your LinkedIn account to enable automated content posting, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant (posting on your behalf). We do not access your LinkedIn messages, connections, or other personal data. You can revoke this access at any time through your LinkedIn settings.

10. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to maintain your session state. No third-party tracking cookies are used on our site.

11. Children's Privacy

myBrandDNA is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of myBrandDNA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
